Cookies
1. Cookies are text files stored on the user’s terminal unit hard drive and used by the server to distinguish the user ‘s terminal after establishing a connection the next time. Cookies are downloaded each time upon “entering” and “leaving” the website. Cookies are not used to establish user identity, only identity of their terminal equipment.
2. The Polish Chamber of Insurance uses cookies to distinguish and store information about users for statistical purposes ― which allows it to create service operation statistics as well as visitor statistics for internal purposes.
3. Each user has the possibility to refuse to consent to storing cookies on their terminal unit. In order to do this, they have to use the option disabling downloading and storing cookies in the web browser. The manner of disabling the option of downloading and storing cookies in popular web browsers is described in the Help section of a given browser.
4. Deleting cookies may result in making the use of certain functionalities of the Polish Chamber of Insurance service impossible.
