On 25 September, at the premises of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics in Warsaw there was a conference entitled ‘New mobility, new market, new risk. How electric and autonomous vehicles will influence the development of infrastructure and the insurance market’.
The Act on electromobility and alternative fuels, which provides for, among other things, research related to the testing of autonomous vehicles, has entered into force. This is one of the challenges for the insurance market. What does electromobility and automobility in Poland currently look like? What are the assumptions and development directions of this type of transport and what organisational and legislative challenges are to be faced before introducing such vehicles on Polish roads? – these were the topics raised during the conference.
The conference, co-organised by the Polish Insurance Association and the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, was specifically addressed to core employees of insurance companies who are engaged in risk assessment in motor and property insurance.
