Taxes in the insurance industry – changes in the tax regulations

More than 130 employees of insurance companies, the Ministry of Finance and academic centres participated in a seminar called: “Taxes in the insurance industry – changes in the tax regulations”. The seminar was organised by the Polish Insurance Association in collaboration with PwC.

The seminar primarily addressed the issue of changes in the tax regulations from the perspective of the insurance sector (including changes in income tax, the tax code, and VAT). The current judicial rulings related to taxes, tax inspections and tax practices in the insurance sector, as well as transfer pricing, JPK and the law avoidance clause, were also discussed.
