The Polish Insurance Association gathers and processes information concerning the insurance market and creates information databases in order to reinforce the information capital of the Association as well as counteract against insurance crime.
Currently in PIU resources there are the following databases:
Databases of insurance statistics:
Database for section II, data per month since the beginning of 2007
Database for the direct market, data per quarter since the beginning of 2010
Bancassurance database, data per quarter since the beginning of 2010
Databases for preventing insurance criminality:
PIU Database informing on the causes of dissolution of the insurance exchange contracts with the agents by insurance companies (PIU Agency Database) — data since 2006
